Client Services
Sales Consultancy
RMC sees the whole prime market across the UK, both privately and publicly available. Our experience spans a wide range of assets and transaction types, giving us insight into multiple scenarios. We observe successes and failures and understand the reasons behind them. This unique depth of knowledge and experience allows us to advise our clients with confidence, clarity and authority on their future property strategies.
We do not undertake direct property sales, but where a future sale is anticipated, we provide a service to support our clients from the very beginning of that journey for as long as required – from initial consultation and strategic advice through to selecting the right selling agent and full management and chairing of the sale process.
As a niche team focussed completely on our clients’ needs, we take the time to understand their objectives in detail. We identify key considerations and actions that will achieve those objectives and maximise value. Acting as a trusted strategic consultant, we ensure our clients receive the right advice in whatever field is required. Together, we agree the strategy and oversee the sale to ensure it is executed effectively and delivers the optimum outcome.
Rural Business Advice
With over 90 years’ combined experience in the purchase, sale, and management of rural property across the UK, we are ideally placed to provide consultancy support to rural property owners. Our service is built on developing a deep understanding of each client’s individual requirements, allowing us to fulfil the crucial role of trusted advisors.
As an independent business, we do not seek to take on—or charge for—every aspect of property management. Instead, we focus on the bigger picture: acting as a strategic sounding board, ensuring our clients receive the best possible advice from the most suitable contractors and professional specialists available.
For clients purchasing rural properties, the early stages of ownership can be complex and filled with new experiences and challenges. From day one, we help to assemble and facilitate the right team to ensure a smooth transition into ownership, and then work closely with clients to develop and deliver their long-term objectives.
Our strategic management advice, grounded in deep experience and financial understating, supports existing property owners in shaping long-term plans that align with their vision—enhancing stability, improving financial performance, and, importantly, enriching the enjoyment and legacy of owning these unique rural assets.
Value Assessment
Having an accurate understanding of the value of a single asset or portfolio of properties is a crucial part of the jigsaw at every stage of ownership.
We make appraisals of value during the acquisition process to ensure our clients are fully informed. In our role representing buyers, we work across a broad range of property types and are continually immersed in market activity and transactional evidence—insights that are essential to analysing and determining correct value.
Beyond acquisition, we also advise existing owners who require guidance on the value of their property at other points in the ownership cycle. This may support decisions on succession planning, restructuring, marketing and sale strategies, taxation requirements, or for general internal review.
